THE SOUL
A reset for the week ahead.
There’s something wonderfully grounding about starting the weekend here. Hundreds of feet moving through the park, familiar faces appearing along the way and local running groups bringing a real sense of community.
Come to blow away the cobwebs. Leave feeling alive and kicking before 10am.
THE ANCHOR
The final 200 metres.
The last stretch is where it all comes together.
A downhill dash towards the finish, with the pace picking up and cheers waiting at the bottom. After 5 km, you get to let gravity do some of the work and speed home.
THE PAUSE
Under the tree at the finish.
Once you've crossed the line, find a patch of grass beneath the tree and take a moment.
Catch your breath. Applaud your effort. Watch everyone else coming home.
Then the day can begin.
